Mayser receives training certificate 2018 plus

As a leading manufacturer of foam and safety technology we at Mayser traditionally see it as our responsibility to recruit competent junior staff. We recognise the importance of high-quality training and support Ulm’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce with voluntary examiners. But our apprentices are also active as volunteers, because personal responsibility and social competence are important traits that Mayser promotes in its employees. Mayser’s commitment has now been recognised by Ulm’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce with the award of the training certificate 2018 plus.

We take our responsibility as a training company very seriously. Our main priority is to qualify young people with skills that allow them to meet the career challenges of our modern economy and highly technological world. To this end our instructors volunteer to help with the examinations at Ulm’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce – for which we received the 2018 training certificate with a “plus”.

Diverse aid programmes

For us at Mayser a plus also means that we not only train specialists, but also qualify people. That is why, for many years now, we have been organising aid programmes to promote the social competence of our junior staff. By setting an example through volunteer work, it becomes a part of our corporate culture.

A canopy for the “Aufschnaufhaus"


And those who show commitment receive much in return. This was experienced recently by our apprentices once again as a result of their involvement in helping to install a canopy for a patio at Ulm’s Aufschnaufhaus together with their instructor and a specialist from the metalworking shop. A helpful service for the “Lebenshilfe Donau-Iller” support organisation, which offers handicapped children and youths an everyday place of refuge.
