Mayser was present at the second Ulm/Neu-Ulm professionals day on 15 October 2016 for the first time and received a great deal of interest. Many visitors were not familiar with the company as an engineering employer in the region.
Successful professionals day at the Ratiopharm Arena
“The visitor rate was extremely high”, expressed Stefan Groer delightfully, HR Manager at the Ulm location. “We held conversations almost continuously”. He was particularly pleased with the quality and depth of the consultancy. “There were a lot of interested individuals from the specific technical department that we are looking for”. We actually received the first applications a few days later.
The location of the booth was perfect too. The visitors could see the Mayser presentation as soon as they entered the foyer. “A lot of visitors were really interested to find out more about the company”, acknowledged HR Specialist Dagmar Burmann with great satisfaction. “The fact that Mayser was able to present itself as an innovative and forward-thinking employer in the region was a great success and an important step for us”. After all, the aim of participating in the trade fair was not just to recruit new professionals, but also to present the Mayser group of companies. “We are a group of companies that operates on a global scale with high-quality products from various sectors and have been much more than just a hat maker for some time now”, said Burmann. Zeni Sulejmani was also able to draw on his personal experience to report on just how attractive Mayser is to young professionals. Thanks to low-profile hierarchies and the company's modern corporate structure, he was promoted to Office Manager just two years after completing his training.
The appearance at the trade fair was so promising that the decision has already been made to attend the Ulm/Neu-Ulm professionals day next year too.
