Award of German language course certificates
Mayser currently employs people of more than 30 different nationalities – some of whom have only rudimentary knowledge of German. To improve in-house communication and interaction with fellow employees, and also to ensure work safety and high quality, the company has offered an in-house course in German – with great success! After 17 intensive weeks, all 18 participants passed the course and proudly received their certificates at the beginning of July.
High level of positive feedback
After 17 weeks of instruction the feedback is very positive. “We have taken a huge step.” That is how the instructor described the development of the pupils in the past months. At the award ceremony she expressed her thanks for a positive experience and the active participation of the learners. The Management and the Mayser Works Council at the Lindenberg location are likewise enthusiastic about the success of the course and urge the employees to use their new knowledge of the language as often as possible. However, the most significant change is felt by the course participants themselves: They are glad to be able to interact with their fellow employees without language barriers now, which will facilitate their integration in the team. Due to the huge success of the course Mayser is planning to include German language courses as a permanent part of the company’s training program.
