Mayser is successfully presenting itself as a training company
The trade fair vocatium offers companies the possibility to support students from the region in choosing a career and or a degree. Mayser presented its formal training and the integrated degree programme for engineering economics at the vocatium.
More than 3,000 students could get information for their professional future during the two days of the sixth vocatium. Next to counselling interview with the more than 45 exhibitors, they could also attend the informative framework programme to which Mayser contributed its lecture “Training and advancement options – Steps on the career ladder”. In his lecture, Training Supervisor Ralf Michael presented not only the diverse training areas and choices but also showed the possible perspectives for a subsequent career. Thanks to flat hierarchies and a modern corporate structure, Mayser opens many doors after the training is completed – from project manager to manager.
Ralf Michael was very satisfied with the trade-fair appearance. “We were able to present ourselves very well with the appealing booth and our lecture. Especially in demand, next to details on the integrated degree programme, was information on a career a process mechanic for plastic and rubber technology. We are delighted that a clearly increased interest in technical professions can be noticed.”
Stefan Groer, Human Resource Manager at the Ulm location, was positively surprised about the high level of response and the intensive talks, even outside the previously agreed appointments. “A lot of young people know very well what they want. One student was interested in training with us and would be willing to drive very far for a good training company. I was impressed by that.” Ultimately, we will see how many applicants are coming in. “For us, the trade fair was a great success in any case. We could present the Mayser group of companies to a lot of young people from the region and also get the teaches to take notice,” Groer explained.
