INDUSKIN Special foam
INDUSKIN foams are PUR special foams modified to specific requirements by impregnation, dyeing, embossing or coating. They combine the typical properties of foam with special requirements of e.g. appearance, feel or resistance.
Industries
INDUSKIN – impregnated foams
The INDUSKIN impregnation process involves soaking INDUCON foams with liquid substances.
- Dyeing
You can choose from a wide range of colours based on RAL, Pantone, your own specifications and metallic effects. - Impregnation with additives
We can also enhance foams with additional product properties: hydrophilic, hydrophobic, oleophobic, lipophilic, antistatic, higher temperature resistance and improved flame retardance.
INDUSKIN – embossed foams
The INDUSKIN hot impregnation process partially embosses the surfaces of INDUCON® products. This enables us to achieve custom functions or designs, e.g for car interiors or interior decoration. This procedure is also used for textile or foil-backed, coated or impregnated foams.
- Plane acrylate or polyurethane coatings
These coatings protect the foam from yellowing and other environmental influences. They also improve acoustic properties or create a surface which is pleasant to the touch. - Partial acrylate or polyurethane coatings
Spot coatings give foams an abrasion-free, non-slip surface or a particular design (lines, checks, lettering, logos).
Applications
- Screening, backing material for adhesive tape, automotive interiors, non-slip material
