Posting, sharing, riding the roller coaster
Virtual success – very real fun: With the support of the Mayser trainees at the Ulm and Lindenberg locations, the company’s Facebook page was launched successfully last year. Now the trainees in Ulm redeemed their reward, and with an extra 500 euros from the motivation fund, visited the Skyline Park in Bad Wörishofen in the Allgäu region on 15 June.
Facebook challenge à la Mayser
Good team spirit is already important at Mayser in the training stage and is promoted from the very first day. Our trainees at the Ulm and Lindenberg locations had the opportunity to demonstrate that they are already a well-coordinated team in a special project: During the launch of Mayser’s social media presence in September 2017 it was their job to create the first Facebook post for a successful presentation. For contacting 5000 individuals by the end of 2017 the teams of both locations each received 500 euros for an additional trainee excursion of their choice. A super incentive!
Destination: Amusement park!
The technical and business trainees developed the idea for a topic (start of training), and then created texts and photos, after which the post went online. Their joint efforts soon brought them to their goal: In October, it had already reached 7,600 people. The trainees in Ulm have now redeemed their reward in the form of an excursion bonus of 500 euros with an excursion to the Skyline Park – where they left out no attraction. The absolute highlights for Mayser’s young staff with strong nerves were the upside down roller coaster “Sky Wheel”, the catapult sky shot and the white-water ride.
The Facebook experts from Lindenberg also invested their bonus in a visit to an amusement park. In 2017, they went to the Europark in Rust on Halloween.
