The strong growth of Mayser calls for construction investments
As an international company, Mayser also invests in a new factory in Michigan, USA. The move to the new building is scheduled for December 2017.
Mayser has been operating in the U.S. since 2012. Back then, the company started with one employee in a rented building. Today, about 140 employees make up the team in Michigan. The establishment of a subsidiary in the United States was originally driven by the highly growing demand in the automotive sector. Customers included the great American automobile manufacturers. By now, Mayser is also working in the non-automotive field in the US. Products for safety as well as foam technology are produced and sold.
Because of the fast growth, a field warehouse was already rented. The goal is securing the highest possible efficiency and the growth in the automotive as well as the non-automotive field. It was therefore decided to combine all areas at one location and build a separate building for this. Construction on the 59,001 m2 plot was started in October of 2016. The move is scheduled for December 2017 already.
After the renovations to strengthen the Lindenberg location and the scheduled new construction in the economic region of Ulm/Neu-Ulm, future investments will thus also include international business.
